ORSE, Vivendi and its societal criteria into the Group Senior Executives’ remunerations

A_long_terme_DD_ORSE_CouvVivendi participated in the study carried out by ORSE (Study Center for Corporate Social Responsibility), in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers, on the integration of CSR criteria into executives’ and managers’ performance-based remenuration. This study presents the approaches used by the companies surveyed, as well as methods that can be employed by companies wishing to introduce this kind of mechanism. The study was presented during a conference held in Paris on June 7, 2012. Pascale Thumerelle, Vivendi’s Vice President for Sustainable Development, participated in this conference to present details on Vivendi’s practices in this area.

Vivendi was a pioneer in expanding the criteria for its senior executives’ performance-based pay to include criteria linked to societal issues: protecting and empowering youth, promoting cultural diversity and sharing knowledge.
