The Shareholders’ Club is invited to Grand Journal

One goal of the Shareholders’ Club is to introduce its members to Vivendi’s various activities. In addition to financial information meetings, training sessions offered by the Ecole de la Bourse (Stock Market School) and meetings on specific topics (Jeudi, c’est Vivendi), it also organizes a variety of entertaining events. On April 4, 10 members were lucky enough to get a behind-the-scenes look at Grand Journal, the hugely popular, humorous news program on Canal+ in the non-scrambled early-evening timeslot. The evening’s excitement began when the group arrived through the stage door; they then toured the backstage area, including a visit to the “Question Box,” were treated to drinks and a light meal, and finally took their places behind the commentators, where they participated in the rehearsal. Other fun events are being planned for the second half of the year. Last year’s events included a visit to the Canal Football Club broadcast.

Preview showings of movies produced or distributed by StudioCanal, a European leader in film production and distribution, are also held in Paris and other French cities. Thanks to SFR, training workshops for four five-person groups were organized for Club members at Studio SFR in Paris tailored to each group’s telephone and information technology training needs. They also toured the security center of SFR Paris’s La Défense business district. And to give club members a better understanding of the group’s music activities, shareholders visited Paris’ famous Olympia music hall and the Palais Garnier opera house, where they attended live opera broadcasts and concerts by the Jeunes Talents association.
